Our program is designed to help students develop the practical skills, industry knowledge, and professional confidence needed to pursue employment opportunities within the automotive and smog check industries. Founder, Industry Mentor & Smog Check Professional
With over 15 years of experience in the automotive and smog check industry, Cheryl Poblete has dedicated her career to helping customers, training future professionals, and creating opportunities for women in a traditionally male-dominated field.
As the founder of Women Driven Forward Foundation and owner of All Star Smog, Cheryl brings real-world industry knowledge, hands-on experience, and a passion for mentorship to every student. Her expertise includes California Smog Check procedures, Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) compliance, customer service, emissions inspections, vehicle testing, and shop operations.
Having overcome challenges and rebuilt her business through perseverance and determination, Cheryl understands the value of hard work, professional development, and creating opportunities for others. Her mission is to empower aspiring technicians with the skills, confidence, and industry experience needed to succeed in the automotive field.
Through mentorship, hands-on training, and practical instruction, Cheryl is committed to helping students build a strong foundation for a successful career in the smog check and automotive industry.

Sandra Dialogo
Instructor, Mentor & Secretary
Sandra Dialogo serves as the Secretary of Women Driven Forward and is a Licensed Smog Technician with hands-on experience in California’s automotive emissions industry. Her journey is a testament to the power of mentorship, determination, and professional growth.
Sandra began her career as a Service Writer, where she developed a strong foundation in customer service, vehicle intake procedures, and shop operations. Through dedication, hard work, and continuous training, she advanced her career and earned her Smog Technician License. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience performing vehicle inspections, emissions testing, and assisting customers through the smog certification process.
Sandra has been an integral part of the team since the early days of All Star Smog and has worked alongside founder Cheryl Poblete for more than four years. Having personally experienced the journey from entry-level automotive employee to licensed technician, she understands the challenges and opportunities women face when entering a traditionally male-dominated industry.
As an instructor and mentor for Women Driven Forward, Sandra is passionate about helping women build confidence, develop technical skills, and discover rewarding career opportunities in the automotive field. She believes that with the right guidance, training, and support, women can thrive and become leaders within the industry.
Her mission is to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of women technicians by sharing her knowledge, experience, and commitment to excellence.
